Temecula Wedding Location – Temeku Hills Analized From A Photography Perspective

Every professional wedding photographer is aware that half the battle of getting a memorable shot is correctly posing the subjects in the best locations within the venue. This article offers tips to professional wedding photographers (or just friends of the family) on how to do this when shooting at Temeku Hills in Temecula for the first time.

The best place to begin taking portraits after a sunny afternoon wedding is at the Gazebo positioned behind the ceremony location. The open sides provide abundant light and the roof offers enough protection from the direct sun to create flattering conditions for your subjects.

Position the bride and groom so that they are under entrance of the gazebo on the end with the sidewalk which is away from the main building. Stand at the other end of the Gazebo. From this position, you will notice that there is a tree behind the bride and groom. Position them so they are directly in front of the trunk of the tree. You should now be ready to take a shot where the bride and groom are in soft lighting and the branches of a tree in the background are nicely framing the subjects. In addition there is a quaint pathway in the background. It makes for a beautiful image.

Temeku Hills is a rolling hills golf course. Take advantage of this. One unique and memorable shot is to get a large group – perhaps the bride, groom, groomsman and bridesmaids to hold hands and begin walking up and down these rolling green hills. You as a photographer can either be at the top or the bottom of the hills. These shots fit nicely into a creative album when the front cover is a shot of the group as it is walking towards the photographer and the back cove is a shot of the backs of the group walking away.

Photographing a wedding in a new location is both a challenge and an opportunity. Although Temeku Hills is a beautiful location in which to shoot, by following the above suggestions a photographer should be able to make his session that much more successful.
